About Us

At Regenerations Counseling, we believe meaningful healing happens through connection. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting struggles, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the weight of life, you do not have to carry it alone.

We provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families in Birmingham, Alabama and virtually throughout Alabama and Tennessee.

Our goal is simple: to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood while building the tools, confidence, and resilience needed to move forward.

Hi, my name is Terra McGill. I am a licensed professional counselor, holding licenses in Alabama and Tennessee. My practice is located in the metro Birmingham area and I also offer virtual therapy for TN clients or those who prefer to meet from their own space.

I have nearly 15 years experience working with children, families, and individuals on a community level during which I have become EMDR certified, specializing in treating trauma related stress, anxiety related disorders, depression, and parent/child relationship problems.

My passion for providing trauma informed care has developed through a combination of life experiences and exposure to research validating that this is the most effective and ethical way to help individuals and families navigate most mental and relational health problems.

Robin Huebner

I help individuals break free from depression, manage anxiety, and to process life stressors and past traumatic experiences in a safe, validating space. My approach is deeply relational and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based modalities such as ACT, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based strategies to aid with coping/regulation and to shift from self-limiting thoughts into more empowered and values-based thinking. Together, we will explore your story and build practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

With nearly 30 years of experience across the mental health field, I bring a grounded, relational, and trauma-informed approach shaped by decades of practice. I help clients shift maladaptive patterns, regulate emotions, and make sense of the past so they can move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

Venica Holmes

I’ve always believed that healing begins with connection. My journey in social work started at Alabama A&M University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, concentrating in Community Mental Health. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to be a source of support for people navigating life’s hardest seasons -especially children, teens, and families who often just need someone to see them, hear them, and walk beside them.

In my work, I specialize in grief support, emotional and behavioral regulation, and increasing self-compassion. I love working with teens navigating major life transitions and helping them to deepen their sense of self. I also love helping young couples who are learning to build stronger, healthier relationships rooted in understanding and trust.

Every story I’ve witnessed has reaffirmed my belief that resilience lives within all of us, it just needs the right environment to flourish. Let me provide a safe place for you to discover your own inner power.
